Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This Policy explains what strofia.com (the "Site") stores in your browser, and what for.

1. Cookies and local storage

A cookie is a small text file a site stores in your browser. Local storage is a browser feature for keeping data on your own device and, unlike a cookie, it is not sent with every request: it never leaves your machine.

This Site uses both, and only for technical purposes.

2. Exactly what is stored

Session cookieCookieKeeping you signed in only if you have signed inUntil you sign out, or 8 hours of inactivity

None of this is used to track you, to learn which other sites you visit, or to build a profile.

3. What this Site does NOT use

  • Advertising cookies. There is no advertising on the Site.
  • Analytics that identify visitors. No Google Analytics or equivalent.
  • Tracking social buttons. Links to other sites are links, not embeds.
  • Tracking pixels of any kind.

If that ever changes, your consent would be asked for first, and this page would say so.

4. Third parties

The Site is served through Cloudflare, which may set strictly necessary cookies for security and content delivery (attack mitigation, for instance). These are technical and are not used for advertising.

If the Site is ever registered with search-engine diagnostic tools such as Google Search Console, those tools do not set cookies on visitors and do not follow individual people: they only report the Site's search performance to its publisher.

5. Withdrawing consent, or clearing everything

You can clear cookies and local storage from your browser's settings, under privacy or site data. Doing so forgets your reading preferences and you will be asked about cookies again.

You can also browse in a private or incognito window: closing it leaves nothing behind.

Refusing cookies limits nothing about what you can read here: the poems are served just the same.
